Stanwell Bamboo

Stanwell bamboos are now rare appearances on the German pipe market. This is certainly also due to the fact that the proportion of manual labor is very high. Matching Bowls have to be found for the bamboo poles - and vice versa.

Then they have to be adapted to each other. A standard mouthpiece does not fit here, an individual mouthpiece must be made by hand.

You also have to be careful with the finish, especially with the black. Because the bamboo is highly absorbent and it must be prevented that stain gets on it. When all of this is done, however, you get a wonderfully light pipe that is iconic for Danish pipe culture.

Purists only smoke such pipes with Virginia flakes. It goes without saying that there is no room for a filter bore in such pipes.
