We couldn't help but love it when respected pipe maker Dirk Heinemann posted his latest creation on his social media channels:
A hand-finished, lighter fuelled pipe lighter from his workshop.
This workshop usually produces Germany's most prestigious freehand pipes, which are sold for prices above the €500 mark.
In this respect, these great lighters are a real bargain!
The briar sleeves are handmade and individually customised for each lighter body. The lighter itself is made of brushed brass and has an open, mechanical ignition with flint. This makes it particularly robust, low-maintenance and ignition-proof. Especially in stormy weather.
When using a high-quality operating fluid (e.g. Zippo), there is little or no noticeable effect on the flavour.
A great accessory for pipe smokers who enjoy beautiful, handmade things.
Of course you will also find pipe lighters from Zippo. But also the highly recommended, gas-powered pipe lighters from IM Corona in Japan.
