Michael Apitz is almost a legend in the german pipe scene.

First and foremost, he is the authoritative figure behind Dan Pipe, standing in the shop every day (as of 13.06.23), selling pipes, tobacco, and inviting customers for a cup of coffee on the corner bench.

But he is also an important inspirer, idea generator and tobacco developer for Dan Tobacco. His favourite blends are summarised in the "Michael Apitz" series.

They correspond predominantly to his own preference for round, palatable and sweet tobaccos, and are pretty much among the best tobaccos you can smoke as a friend of flavoured pipe tobaccos.
