Davidoff Pipetobacco

The globally recognised reputation that the Davidoff brand enjoys is primarily linked to exclusive cigars. But it should not be forgotten that this name also stands for no less outstanding pipe tobacco.

Already as a boy, the legendary company founder Zino Davidoff learned how to mix cigarette and pipe tobacco in his father's tobacco shop at the beginning of the 20th century. After extensive travels through Central and South America, Davidoff acquired a great reputation as an importer of Cuban cigars, but always remained connected to the pipe as well.

His book "Zigarren-Brevier oder Was raucht der Connaisseur?" (Cigar Brevier or What Does the Connoisseur Smoke?), in which he approaches the pleasures of tobacco consumption from a cultural perspective, is proof of how much he valued the pleasurable aspect of smoking in addition to business.

This love of pleasure, which accompanied Davidoff, who died in 1994, throughout his life, can also be felt in the brand's carefully selected pipe tobaccos. Above all, it is classic elegance that defines these varieties and to which they owe their loyal following.
