The three tobaccos we have selected for this set are probably among the strongest pipe tobaccos available in Germany.

The Mac Baren HH Rustica is a hot-pressed flake that consists to a large extent of Nicotiana Rustica, the "wild" ancestor of Nicotiana Tabacum. Its spiciness and strength can hardly be compared to conventional tobaccos.

The Cornell & Diehl Haunted Bookshop Cake is a pressed "tobacco cake" based on strong US Burleys, as well as some Virginia and Perique. Its spicy, earthy flavour with a slight sweetness is a real "board". The flavour lingers on the palate.

From the misty valleys of the Ardennes comes the Vincent Manil La Brumeuse, which consists of 100% Semois tobacco grown in Belgium. The earthy, cigar-like tobacco is probably one of the most naturally pure varieties of all.
