Mac Baren is certainly one of the most innovative and traditional tobacco manufacturers in the world. The "Golden Blend" has been part of the assortment since 1954 and was one of the first Burley tobaccos on the European market. It offers a natural, slightly spicy aroma in a ready-rubbed cut and tastes good all day long.

The "Plumcake" is, contrary to what the name suggests, not flavoured with plum, but like the English biscuit of the same name, it contains a rum flavouring, which is contrasted by a slightly spicy tobacco base. It also contains a small portion of Latakia, which gives it a slightly smoky note. Very complex and difficult to describe - you have to try it!
