lizardking Schöne Zigarre mit großem Ringmaß. Zug relativ gut, habe sie einmal nachgeschnitten. Wrapper hatte Schäden, beim Toasten schien dieser auch irgendwie löchrig. Rauchvolumen durchweg zu gering bis auf das letzte Drittel. Schmeckt fast die ganze Zeit recht holzig gepaart mit Leder. Dabei fast durchgehend sehr mild. Erst am Ende kommen etwas dunkle Aromen hinzu. Alles in allem schon eine gute Zigarre, aber mir zu wenig Rauch, zu wenig Aromen und zu teuer.

Sehr schöne milde und qualitativ hochwertige Zigarre. Hat mir gut gefallen, allerdings bei 22€ der Lungentorpedo auch nicht ganz billig...

ShortDog Tried it last evening in the Cigarworld lounge. A forest wonderland all wrapped up in a cigar. Lasted for about 65-70 minutes. Will not talk much about the way it is rolled or consistency because these are stop on. For this price and from Davidoff wouldn't have expected anything less. Easy to light up, even burn and a wonderful amount of smoke which is surprisingly creamy. Saying surprisingly creamy because this stick is the first I've ever smoked where wood and coffee are very clearly predominant - so we have two punchy aromas that somehow manage to keep things mellow and light, so it just tickles your senses and not overstimulate them. Fantastic mixture if you ask me. So many types of strong essence woods. All wrapped in roasted coffee. Hints of nuts, grass and soils, but just enough to barely detect them. Another very important aspect is the quality. Rough flavours in a rough fat stick - but such good quality of tobacco makes this one a must try. All in all it felt like when I first moved in a brand new flat in a brand new building. Would "smell", "see" and "touch" the quality everywhere. Yes - price is high for not such a big cigar... so for me this might stay a "special occasion" smoke. Then again real quality demands financial efforts. So yes - if you can afford it and never tried it - go for it for sure. Peace and love!

Sonst durchaus Davidoff-Freund, fremdele ich etwas mit der Reihe Escurio. Die Gran Perfecto ist nun schon die zweite aus der Reihe, die mich durch mäßigesAbbrandverhalten und eher flache Aromatik etwas ernüchtert hat. Es sind ganz gut schmeckende und soweit ordentlich verarbeitete Zigorren, aber meiner Meinung nach nicht den aufgerufenen Preis wert. Da bekam ich mit einer „Alonso Menendez“ (die auch noch eine brasilianische Pura ist!) für ein Drittel des Preises tadellosen Abbrand und eindeutig brasilianischen Vorzug. Ich finde, Davidoff sollte der Escurio Reihe ein schärferes Profil Richtung Brasilien geben und sie als Pura herausgeben. Aber so wird das nichts mit mir und dem schwarzen Etikett von Davidoff…
