Aureum Cigars

In this series, we have brought together all Aureum cigars that do not belong to the Connecticut, San Andrés or Sun Grown series. These include distinctive formats and limited special editions that showcase the brand’s versatility. The cigars are made in the Costa Rican mountain region of Puriscal, where traditional craftsmanship meets carefully selected tobaccos. Whether rare filler tobaccos, unusual blends or exclusive small-batch releases, every Aureum cigar tells its own story and appeals to connoisseurs who value provenance, character and individuality.

What Do Aureum Cigars Stand For?

Aureum is a StarkeZigarren brand born from the idea of once again viewing tobacco as a natural product of cultural significance. Inspired by the Gold Museum in Bogotá, the traditions of Colombia’s Kogi people and historic trade routes, Aureum combines the symbolism of gold with an appreciation for premium tobacco. The guiding principle “When tobacco becomes gold” represents a mindful smoking experience in which provenance, craftsmanship and history are just as important as the blend itself. Production in Costa Rica provides the foundation for well-balanced cigars, while selected special editions featuring tobaccos from Pennsylvania, Peru and Brazil add exciting new dimensions to the range.

Special Aureum Cigars for Explorers

The Aureum Medio Tiempo Perla combines the compact Perla format with rare Medio Tiempo tobacco, making it an excellent choice for stylish, shorter smoking occasions. The Aureum Lancero was originally developed for a cigar retailer in Bamberg, and its slender format brings out the subtle characteristics of the H2000 wrapper with exceptional precision. With the Aureum Pennsylvania Toro Extra, the brand reveals its experimental side: tobaccos from Pennsylvania, Estelí and Peru create a distinctive blend that particularly appeals to aficionados eager to discover unusual combinations. Since the tobaccos used are available only in limited quantities, this special edition is one of the more exclusive members of the Aureum family.
