Handelsgold Tropenschatz
All formats of Handelsgold cigars are finished with a delicately spicy wrapper that gives you a typically Brazilian, smooth-drinking aroma. Quality and enjoyment at an unbeatable price! Tropenschatz Brasil is Germany’s best-selling cigar (every third cigar!). Since the most popular tobacco blend in Germany (at around 80%) is Sumatra, the Handelsgold product range has now been expanded with the new Tropenschatz Sumatra. We also offer the equally popular flavored Handelsgold cigarillos as a complete range.
Tropenschatz Brasil and Sumatra: Insights Into Germany’s Most Popular Cigar Brands
Originally, it became known and popular in Germany, especially in the first half of the 20th century. The brand established itself as one of Germany’s leading cigar brands by combining quality with affordable prices. During the Second World War and the post-war period, there were some interruptions and difficulties in production and distribution. Nevertheless, the brand managed to maintain its market presence and adapt to changing market conditions.
In later years, with the emergence of new cigar brands and changing smoking habits, “Tropenschatz” underwent a transformation. The brand adapted by offering various blends and formats to cater to the different tastes and preferences of smokers. The history of “Tropenschatz” reflects not only the development of a cigar brand, but also the cultural and economic changes that have taken place over the decades in Germany and beyond. Today, “Tropenschatz” stands for both tradition and the ability to adapt to new times.
Flavor Variety of Affordable Tropenschatz Cigars
Here in the lounge, for a regulars’ table, we have a special cigar ashtray from the Wirtschaftswunder era, with a Handelsgold cigar lying crosswise on top. You can find all Handelsgold cigars here! The manufacturer is the renowned family-owned company Arnold Andre from Bünde, which also produces its own handmade longfillers such as Buenavista cigars or the Montosa cigars in its own manufactory in the Dominican Republic.
