Ashton Classic
The American Robert Levin founded the Ashton brand in 1985. Since then, these cigars have been produced totalmente a mano, meaning hand-rolled, by the most experienced torcedores (cigar rollers) at the world-renowned Arturo Fuente manufactory in the Dominican Republic. Today, his daughter and son are the faces and the heart of the company – and at this point, many thanks once again for the excellent bottle of wine they invited us to in Las Vegas in 2023 during the PCA!
Ashton Cigars: Handcrafted Masterpieces from the Dominican Republic
The finest and richest tobaccos from the Dominican Republic are used for the filler and binder, giving Ashton its unique complexity. These premium cigars are finished with a silky, yet still oily wrapper made from Connecticut Shade. This gives the Classic its distinctive mild aroma. The result is a perfect balance of complexity and character. In terms of flavor, the spectrum ranges from delicate and creamy to nutty, with a medium-bodied profile.
Discover the World of Ashton: Premium Cigars with Tradition
The name Ashton is derived from the renowned pipe maker William Ashton Taylor, who crafted excellent pipes in England. Given his well-regarded name in the tobacco industry, which had already been successfully used for tobacco products, it seemed fitting to use this name for premium cigars as well. Thus, the name Ashton stands for the highest quality in all areas of the tobacco world. In addition to the Classic, the series Maduro, VSG, ESG, and Cabinet are also distributed by Ashton.
