Bossner Classic (Dominican Republic)

This is the original, classic line of Bossner cigars. In addition, there is also a line with Maduros and one from Nicaragua. Behind this brand stands a cigar enthusiast from Russia who has been having “his” cigars produced in a manufactory in the Dominican Republic since the 1990s. Crafted to perfection, they offer something for every palate – the Classic series is made with Dominican tobaccos in the filler and for the binder. This is traditionally finished with a wrapper made from a light, very fine Connecticut Shade.

From the Dominican Republic to Russia: The Global Journey of Bossner Classic Cigars

The design of the Bossner Classic may be a bit “too much” for some – as they say, there’s no arguing about (visual) taste. In terms of flavor, however, these cigars are in our opinion perfect alternatives to, for example, Davidoff cigars or Griffin's cigars.

Here are some tasting notes on the Bossner Classic from various magazines:

  • Spicy aromas of fine cedar wood quickly spread across the palate and nasal cavity. The flavor emphasizes notes of chocolate. Excellent draw (Cigar 2/2005).
  • The cigars are moderately sweet and have pleasant aromas reminiscent of cedar wood, occasionally with hints of acacia honey. Slight resistance in the draw (Cigar 1/2005).
  • Initially somewhat artificial-tasting aromas, which settle after a few minutes. Strong cigars with medium sharpness and a note of spruce wood (Cigar 4/2004).

Bossner Classic Cigars: Tradition Meets Modern Elegance

The aforementioned cigar enthusiast from Russia, Konstantin Loskutnikov, is not only involved in cigars but has since expanded his brand’s portfolio to include chocolate, cognac, belts, and other lifestyle products. The booth of his Bossner cigar brand is always one of the largest and most eye-catching at both Intertabac in Dortmund and the IPCPR in the USA.
