Freud Limited Edition

This section showcases all limited editions by Freud Cigar Co. that have reached the German market over the years. The Freud cigars are named after the Austrian neurologist and founder of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud, who was also a devoted cigar smoker. Probably his most well-known portrait is a half-profile photograph showing him looking into the camera with a cigar in hand. This image has made him, alongside Winston Churchill, Fidel Castro, and Zino Davidoff, one of the most iconic and renowned cigar aficionados in the world.

Limited Freud Cigars: A Tribute to Sigmund Freud

He was born in Austria on May 6, 1856, and died in exile in London on September 23, 1939. Accordingly, the first limited edition was launched on May 6, 2023, to mark Freud’s birthday. This was the Chapter One The Disruptor, blended by Eladio Diaz and produced in his Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

This 7.5x50 is a Double Corona, with the exact blend remaining undisclosed. That is typical for Eladio Diaz’s limited editions – only the fact that seven different tobaccos were used, five of which are in the filler, has been shared. Production was limited to 3,500 boxes. The cigars by the Freud Cigar Company are a project of Agape Lifestyle Inc. and were introduced for the first time in 2022. Also created by investor David Stadnyk and Luis Torres are the cigars from Carlos & Maria.
