Ibis Dominicana
August Schuster has this mild, approachable longfiller cigar made in the Dominican Republic. A small but highly skilled manufacturer created a classic blend of Dominican Piloto, an Olor binder, and an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. The result is an exceptionally mild, easygoing cigar that is perfect for everyday enjoyment. Depending on the manufacturer, bundle cigars can vary considerably in quality.
Ibis Dominican Selection: Mild Longfiller Cigars by August Schuster
For the Ibis Dominican Selection, Philipp Schuster succeeded in establishing consistently high minimum quality standards among the manufacturers. This ensures that even in the more affordable segment, the range consists of uncomplicated, easy-smoking cigars that deliver an enjoyable smoking experience. The August Schuster Fine Cigar Factory in Bünde has been serving cigar enthusiasts for generations and continues to offer outstanding quality at attractive prices.
Tradition Meets Quality: The Ibis Dominican Selection by Schuster
Drawing on the experience gained within the family business since 1898, August Schuster founded his own cigar manufacturing company in 1909 in the German cigar town of Bünde, Westphalia. In 1953, Dr. Hans Schuster took over the family cigar tradition from his father and managed the company until 1983. From then on, brothers Manfred and Philipp Schuster continued to lead the business in keeping with its founders' solid traditions. After more than 40 years at the helm, the two senior members of the Schuster family handed the company over to the next generation at the turn of 2023/2024: Annemarie, Oliver, and Martin Schuster. Only first-class quality is acceptable, meaning nothing but 100% tobacco, both for their own products and for imported cigars. As a result, these products can be found in every well-stocked premium cigar retailer today. Brands such as Partageno, Lepanto, C. Mendoza, Casa de Torres, Brazil Trüllerie, and the popular Maria Mancini have all played their part in cigar history. Schuster remains committed to preserving the cultural heritage of cigars and the unique enjoyment they offer for generations to come.
