Ibis Honduras Maduro

The cigar series Ibis Honduras Maduro was introduced in 2013 and combines the flavor of Ibis’s classic Honduras line with the sweetness of a matured Maduro wrapper. These are full-bodied cigars with earthy notes and a hint of chocolate – made from mineral-rich Honduran tobacco in both the filler and the binder. Most cigars in the Ibis Honduras Maduro line are sold in bundles of 10.

Ibis Cigars – House Brand of the August Schuster Tobacco Manufactory

The brand Ibis is part of the private label family of the August Schuster tobacco manufactory in Bünde. In addition to the Ibis Dominicana and the Ibis Nicaragua, there is also the “regular” Ibis Honduras line. Originally, all Ibis cigars were rolled as medium fillers, but they have now been fully converted to long fillers. This means that all newly introduced vitolas (and all cigars in this category, anyway) are entirely handmade and consist of 100% whole tobacco leaves.

Ibis Long Filler Cigars – Quality at a Low Price

The cigars are classified as “ungraded” because they are packaged without an elaborate sorting by shade. This means they have not been sorted in detail, and the visual quality control is not as rigorous as with cigars marketed as premium branded products. This helps to save costs – also because there is no need for expensive wooden boxes. As a result, the retail price can be kept low. These long fillers often offer just as much smoking pleasure as more elaborately produced and packaged premium cigars!
