Kristoff San Andres

Glen Case's cigars have been a staple in the cigar industry for many years. Around the year 2012, we brought the first cigars from him to Germany, and since 2015, the cigar importer Kleinlagel from Bruchsal has been responsible for distribution in Germany. The name of this brand stems from Glen's son, whose name is Christopher. In order to make his name more distinctive and less likely to be confused in the cigar industry, the brand owner Glen Case decided to change it to "Kristoff".

During our visit to the U.S. tobacco trade show IPCPR 2015 in New Orleans, we were so impressed with this line featuring a wrapper from the Mexican region of San Andres that we "urged" Martina Kleinlagel, co-owner of Kleinlagel, who was also present, to place an additional order for this series! A Sun Grown wrapper from Ecuador is used as the binder. Only Nicaraguan tobacco is used in the filler to complement the intense flavor of the wrapper.

Three different vitolas are produced in the Tabacalera of Charles Fairmorn in the Dominican Republic: a slender Churchill measuring 7x50, an otherwise known Gordo measuring 6x60, and a slightly larger Robusto with a 54 ring gauge and a length of 5.5 inches. All formats are available in the familiar, slightly rougher 20-count boxes.
