Leon Jimenes

Leon Jimenes

This classic series comes from the La Aurora factory, which is owned by the Léon family. According to their own statement, this Tabacalera is the oldest in the Dominican Republic and has been operating since 1903. All Leon Jimenes cigars are excellently crafted, very mild cigars from the Dominican Republic that develop a subtle cinnamon taste with nuances of vanilla throughout the entire series.

The wrapper is a beautifully light and very elegant-looking Connecticut Shade. The binder and the filler tobaccos used come from the Dominican Republic. Only a very small part of Nicaraguan tobacco has been added to the filler over time to ensure the consistency of the blend. This series is an absolute classic and a perennial favorite in our lineup. It is one of the first series that we introduced online in 1997, one of the first series that we have smoked ourselves. Always worth a try!

Initially, almost all vitolas were introduced in 25-count boxes, of which only three formats (the Numero 1, 3, and 5) are also available in practical 5-count pocket packs. In the meantime, La Aurora Cigars has responded to changing customer behavior and now offers (almost) all cigars in very attractive and convenient 10-count wooden boxes. In addition to this classic series, we also offer various other Leon Jimenes cigars from the same house, including the Double Maduro, Flavours, and Family Series. Here you will find a complete overview of all Leon Jimenes cigars available in Germany.

Our recommendation is the latest introduced format, Leyendas (Legends) - a demanding craftsmanship and a wonderfully complex flavor profile!
