Leonel Classic

This premium brand was initiated as a house brand by the distributor Paul Bugge and has been distributed nationwide since then. It's a mild premium cigar with harmonious yet spicy nuances. Here you'll find a complete overview of all Leonel cigars available in Germany.

The filler consists of Dominican tobaccos that have been aged for nearly ten years before processing. Naturally, different tobaccos (Ligero, Seco, and Volado) from various leaf positions are used, contributing to the complex, mild-harmonious flavor. The binder is a Sumatra leaf with its characteristic peppery-earthiness, which contrasts with the mild Dominican filler by adding subtle accents. The silky-shiny wrapper is a Connecticut tobacco from the USA, beautifully completing these cigars.

In 2019, the brand was completely relaunched with new artwork. The boxes and cigar bands were completely redesigned, and the cigar band (anilla in Spanish) is now a "modern" oversized band. The importer, Paul Bugge, doesn't disclose where exactly the Leonel cigars are manufactured, but it's described as a "manufacture with the highest quality and perfection standards," as each cigar is tested with a "Draw-Master" (draw resistance measuring device).
