The Astoria de Nicaragua Crimez Serie is the “Gangsta” variant of the classic Astoria de Nicaragua Classic Zigarren, which we've been offering in our shop since 2010. This series consists exclusively of powerful vitolas with somewhat unusual names like “Entführung” (Kidnapping) or “Totschlag” (Manslaughter) – not necessarily my cup of tea, but as an (almost-)boomer, one's taste can occasionally be peculiar! Alongside Kidnapping and Manslaughter, the "Hate" will soon be joining the lineup to really round off the mood! The tobaccos used are entirely from Nicaragua, representing authentic cigar culture from Esteli in the northern part of the country. These high-quality cigars are handmade at Plasencia Zigarren, one of the world's leading tabacaleras in Central America, and despite their quality, they're particularly reasonably priced. Typical for the Astoria de Nicaragua cigars is tobacco from the Esteli region, whose rich brown leaves impart a spicy, chocolaty aroma.

Since 2024, we've been directly importing the Astoria cigars, following the withdrawal of the former importer, Darier & Cleef from Hamburg, who ceased their operations and transferred the import and distribution of their Marca Fina cigars to Importhaus Kopp from Rellingen.
