Brick House Classic
The cigars from the Brick House brand pay tribute to the childhood home of company founder Julius Caeser (J.C.) Newman, a classic brick house. He emigrated to the United States in 1888 and founded the J.C. Newman Cigar Company in 1895. For Julius Caeser, Brick House was a celebration of his family tradition and intended as a symbol of happy childhood memories in an idyllic setting. The brick house was not only the only building of its kind in the area, but also served as an inn. As such, it was a popular meeting place where people could gather and enjoy fine cigars together.
Brick House Classic: Puros from Nicaragua
The filler for the Brick House Classic is made entirely from carefully aged Nicaraguan tobaccos, as is the binder. A rich Nicaraguan wrapper known as “Subido Shade” completes the blend. In terms of flavor, this refined composition tends toward notes of wood and subtly sweet maple syrup. Overall, it is harmonious and full-bodied. These elegant, handmade longfiller cigars delight with fascinating aromas that showcase the full flavor potential of Nicaraguan cigar-making craftsmanship.
Variety at Brick House: From the Classic Line to the Connecticut Series
Alongside the classic Brick House Classic, the range now also includes the dark vitolas of the Brick House Maduro series, which are extremely popular with aficionados in Germany. At the end of 2017, the lighter and milder Brick House Connecticut series was added to the portfolio.
