We originally imported these cigars directly from the manufacturer, which allowed us to offer them at an even more attractive price. In Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, this cigar line has long been known and highly successful. Our first import took place in 2013, but the manufacturer then went off the radar and did not process further orders—presumably focusing on the other markets. When Germany became attractive again, we resumed imports in the summer of 2018. These cigars then found a new home with distributor Kleinlagel from Bruchsal, in the meantime it changed again to their own Meerapfel Companies Distribution. The luxury lines of UberLuxury Meerapfel Cigars, named after family members—such as the Meerapfel Meir or the Meerapfel Ernest Cigars—are still offered by Kopp Tobacco.
