Perdomo Legacy

The English word Legacy means exactly that – a legacy – and that is precisely what the Perdomo Legacy Cigars are all about. These cigars pay tribute to Nick Perdomo Jr., who has shaped the family business for decades and is one of the best-known figures in the modern cigar world. With his trademark mustache, he has been a familiar face in the industry for decades, instantly recognizable and bearing a slight resemblance to actor Tom Selleck from the TV series Magnum. In 2025, he celebrated his 60th birthday, and this line was presented to him by his son, Nicholas Perdomo III, as a birthday gift. It is a heartfelt thank-you to the man who laid the foundation for the success of today's Perdomo Cigars. And, quite honestly, we certainly hope that Nick Jr. has no plans to slow down anytime soon and will continue creating outstanding blends for many years to come. The word Legacy can sometimes carry the connotation of an ending or a farewell – let's hope that's not the case!

Perdomo Legacy: Three Generations of Cigar Passion

The story of the Perdomo family in Florida dates back to 1992, when Nick Perdomo Jr. founded the company and, through passion and relentless hard work, established a respected name in the cigar industry. Today, the third generation is already deeply involved, with Nicholas Perdomo III and his sister Natalie playing key roles in the business. Nick's wife, Janine Perdomo, has been by his side throughout the company's journey for many years. She frequently accompanied her husband to international trade shows such as InterTabac in Dortmund and is regularly the recipient of warm, heartfelt social media posts and public declarations of love from him. Their daughter, Natalie Perdomo, even has the company's own Finca Natalie in Estelí named in her honor. It is there that a specially developed hybrid tobacco, combining Caribbean and Cameroon seed varieties, is cultivated. This unique tobacco forms the heart of the Legacy Cigars. In the Shade Grown version, it serves as the wrapper, while in the Connecticut and Maduro blends, it is used as the binder.

Perdomo Legacy Cigars with Distinctive Character

The Perdomo Legacy Shade Grown showcases the new hybrid tobacco as its wrapper, delivering a refined balance of pleasant spice, subtle sweetness, and medium-bodied strength. The Perdomo Legacy Connecticut offers a creamy, balanced, and approachable smoking experience. Here, the hybrid tobacco serves as the binder beneath a light Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. As a result, the wrapper on the Connecticut version is the only non-Nicaraguan tobacco used throughout the entire line. Those looking for a richer profile will appreciate the Perdomo Legacy Maduro. Its Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper is aged for an extended period in bourbon barrels, creating notes of dark chocolate and espresso. All three blends benefit from exceptionally well-aged tobaccos and demonstrate that a true legacy does not remain in the past—it continues to be written with every outstanding cigar.
