Origin and Development in Estelí

Victor Calvo began his career in Costa Rica before relocating his factory to Estelí, Nicaragua in 2001, where all of the brand’s cigars continue to be produced. The factory mainly uses its own Nicaraguan tobaccos, lending each series a distinctive character. Among the various Victor Calvo Cigars, the Fuerte stands out as one of the most expressive blends – developed as the strongest line in the portfolio. Since 2019, these cigars have also been available in Germany, thanks to importer and fellow tobacconist Sebastian Gollas, making the full range of the brand accessible.

The Fuerte line includes several longfillers that, somewhat unceremoniously, are identified only by numbers rather than names. What they all share is an intense aroma.
