Brun del Ré 1787

This line was originally introduced at the Inter tabac in Dortmund in September 2017 but only made its way to the German market in December 2018. The originally Swiss Corazza family has been producing high-quality cigars in Costa Rica since the early 2000s. For each Brun del Ré 1787 Rainforest sold, 20% of the sales are donated to the Rainforest Foundation specifically established for this purpose in Costa Rica.

The character of the cigars has been intensively blended. The two vitolas start off spicy and become slightly milder as the smoking progresses. The head of the cigar is finished with a so-called "pigtail," allowing the vitolas to be easily opened without a cigar cutter. The foot end is partially closed with some folded wrapper tobacco. All the tobaccos used for the wrapper, filler, and binder come from the Perez Zeledon region in southern Costa Rica. The new and innovative distributor, PasionPuro from Düsseldorf, has been organizing the distribution of these cigars in Germany since 2018.
