Carlos André Airborne

This is the second series under the "umbrella" of Carlos André. In the early 2010s, the "black" Family Reserve was initially introduced to the market, and in the summer of 2018, it was complemented with this "red" series. The brand was conceived as an in-house brand and a "proof of cigar expertise" by Axel-Georg André, the owner of the cigar manufacturer Arnold André in Bünde, Westphalia. Since 2015, the renowned cigar manufacturer and importer has been producing its own long-filler cigars at Arnold André Dominicana, aiming to demonstrate that they can create exclusive and perfectly crafted cigars themselves! By the way, the name was inspired by the youngest son of the company owner, thus making these cigars a spiritual "bridge" to the next and eighth generation of the André family in the cigar business.

The Airborne cigars are as finely and harmoniously blended as their milder counterparts, but with noticeably more spice and a corresponding "kick." This is achieved, among other things, through a Mexican H 2000 wrapper that has been aged for over five years, giving it a reddish-brown color. The binder comes from Nicaragua, and the filler blend is an exciting combination of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian tobaccos. The spicy and slightly sweet aroma produced by the Airborne develops for aficionados into flavors of ripe fruits, nuts, and black chocolate.

The name was chosen as a tribute to the moment of "letting go" that occurs when one ignites the right cigar at the right moment and, like on the smoke cloud, relaxes and "takes off," allowing the mind to drift to new horizons.
