Carlos André Collector's Cut

This cigar line is, so to speak, the personal creation of the current owner of Arnold André. Axel-Georg André is now leading the traditional East Westphalian company into the modern era – successfully and in its seventh generation. Number 1 was introduced in 2017, followed by Number 2 in the following year, and finally Number 3 in 2020. All vitolas share the name of the eighth generation of the family: that of the junior, Carlos André. The Carlos André Collector’s Cut cigars were each produced in a limited edition of only 500 boxes. These are more than just limited cigars – they are a tribute to dedication, family values, and artistic passion.

Family Tradition Meets Art and Character

The third edition of the Collector’s Cut was developed with the same care and devotion the André family has brought to their tobacco craft for generations. Only 500 numbered cases are available worldwide – each one a unique piece, featuring a laser-engraved metal medallion indicating the format name, the edition number, and the personal signature of Axel-Georg André. The Carlos André series stands for over 200 years of German tobacco tradition, upheld by the André family whose roots go back to 1817. With the Collector’s Cut No. 3 Devotion, the brand builds a bridge between craftsmanship and art: The design of the elegant case features a poppy motif created by Kathrin André, the owner’s wife and a master student of Markus Lüpertz. In doing so, cigar culture merges with fine art – a sensual interplay of form, color, and aroma that goes far beyond the product itself. In this edition, the family business presents itself more personally than ever before – “this is family business at its core.”

A Complex Play of Aromas: The Collector’s Cut Cigars

These cigars are all handcrafted premium longfillers from Arnold André Dominicana in Santiago de los Caballeros. The composition varies from edition to edition; specific details are provided for each cigar. In addition to their own cigars – such as the Buena Vista cigars, which are also produced there, or the highly successful Montosa cigars – the family-run company also distributes longfillers from La Aurora and Leon Jimenes.
