DBL Mafu

When a cigar brand like DBL is run with as much passion as it is by Francisco Almonte, the result is not just top-quality cigars—but also deeply personal projects. In his factory in the heart of the Dominican Republic, cigars aren’t just produced—they’re celebrated. The result is blends that stand out from the mainstream and tell their own stories.
DBL Mafu Cigars: Bold Blends with a Personal Touch
One of these stories is called Mafu. Named after a longtime employee of the Tabacalera, the DBL Mafu cigars represent strength, depth, and character. Two versions are available: one with a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper, the other with an Ecuadorian Cameroon wrapper. Both use the same binder (HVA) and a filler blend of Dominican Corojo 99 and Pennsylvania Broadleaf. A blend crafted for seasoned aficionados in search of something special.
