DBL: Cigars for Sports Fans

If there were the ultimate cigars for sports bars, they would be from DBL, short for Dominican Big Leaguer. This becomes immediately clear—nowhere else will you find vitolas shaped like a baseball bat. The Baseball Bat Connecticut and the Baseball Bat Maduro are true eye-catchers. There were even cigars shaped like an American football, but unfortunately, they are now sold out.

It’s clear where DBL is headed. Even the names of some cigar lines pay tribute to famous U.S. sports figures. "La Flecha," for example, is the nickname of Fernando Rodney, the legendary pitcher who played for the Detroit Tigers and the Tampa Bay Rays.

"La Maquina" refers to Albert Pujols, a first baseman who spent most of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Angels. Both, incidentally, are originally from the Dominican Republic, providing a national connection to these cigars.
