Macanudo MADURO

Macanudo MADURO

The cigar brand Macanudo has been one of the best-selling cigars on the US market for many years. Originally manufactured in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, currently all cigars of this brand come from the island of Hispaniola. The classic series is known as Macanudo Café, featuring a light Connecticut wrapper that is even milder and more floral-grassy than this one.

As the demand for full-bodied, flavor-rich, yet mild dark cigars has also increased in Germany, the Maduro series was introduced towards the end of the 1990s. With the addition of the Maduro Diplomat variant to the classic Macanudo line, the expectations of aficionados are met, as they impress with a soft, balanced, and sweet undertone in taste. The filler consists of Dominican Piloto and Mexican tobacco, wrapped in a San Andres binder. The crowning touch is the dark-brown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Only two of the numerous tobacco farms along the Connecticut River in the USA provide these unique leaves.

Characteristic is a gentle smoke at the beginning, which develops into an intense aftertaste of delicately spicy aromas. Especially the Diplomat and Lords formats have become true bestsellers in our Cigarworld Lounge.
