Eiroa Jamastran

With the Eiroa Jamastran, Christian Eiroa returns to his family’s roots. The series is made exclusively from Honduran tobaccos and pays tribute to the Jamastrán Valley, widely regarded as the country’s most important tobacco-growing region. These fully handmade longfillers combine traditional Corojo tobaccos with a distinctive balance of spice, sweetness, and complexity. Especially for aficionados who appreciate classic Honduran cigars with an authentic sense of origin, this series offers a fascinating smoking experience.

Eiroa Jamastran – a Tribute to the History of the Eiroa Family

The Eiroa family has been one of the defining names in the Honduran cigar world for decades. Long before Christian Eiroa established the CLE brand (which, incidentally, stands for Christian Luis Eiroa) and later the Eiroa lines, the family owned the well-known Camacho brand, which they sold to the Swiss company Davidoff in 2008. Through Camacho cigars, he helped make formats such as the legendary 11/18 Diploma famous among connoisseurs. With the Eiroa Jamastran cigar, Christian Eiroa consciously revisits this legacy. The series reflects the family’s close connection to the tobacco fields of the Jamastrán Valley and a style built on characterful Corojo tobaccos, craftsmanship, and uncompromising authenticity.

Honduran Cigars with Distinctive Corojo Character

The Eiroa Jamastran 11/18 is medium-bodied to full-bodied, developing nutty aromas and fruity nuances with a subtle sweetness that, as the smoke progresses, is joined by citrus and creamy notes. I enjoyed my sample very much. The idea of trying it myself came from a colleague in our customer service team who tested this cigar for a social media post and simply could not put it down. Naturally, I had to try one as well and took a closer look at this vitola. Originally launched in 2019, it is available in the United States exclusively to members of the TAA (Tobacconist Association of America). We received our shipment in the summer of 2026 and are delighted to be able to offer this format exclusively in Germany. A small fun fact: the 11/18 Jamastran was ranked No. 7 among the best cigars of 2019 by our esteemed colleagues at the American cigar blog Halfwheel.
