Eiroa The First 20 Years Maduro

The namesake Christian Eiroa has been in the cigar business since 1995, and these cigars were created in 2015 to mark his 20th anniversary in the industry. He will forever be known as the man behind Camacho—the brand that made him big and (probably) rich. He sold the label to Davidoff in 2008, only to return four years later under his own name. Today, he’s back in the spotlight with his brands CLE and Eiroa, once again showcasing his talent for blending tobacco.

CLE and Eiroa: Masterful Tobacco From Honduras

The line presented here, The First 20 Years Maduro, was blended by his father, Julio Eiroa. What makes this cigar unique is the binder leaf, which, according to him, hadn’t been used in 50 years. All tobaccos used are grown in Honduras, and every vitola is rolled in his own Tabacalera El Aladino.

The First 20 Years Maduro – The Classic From Eiroa

Originally introduced in the U.S. in March 2015, a batch made its way across the Atlantic to Germany in 2016. That shipment sold out quickly, prompting a second delivery in fall 2019. This time it included an additional format—the Toro Gordo, with a hefty 60 ring gauge and a length of 6 inches.
