The Serie C from Condega Cigars combines Nicaraguan cigar tradition with a modern touch. The name refers both to a small town and to a tobacco-growing region in northern Nicaragua, around 60 kilometers from Estelí. Unlike the classic, bright red Condega Serie F Cigars, these cigars feature an elegant blue design. The classic cigars are Nicaraguan puros. For the Serie C cigars presented here, which were launched in Germany in summer 2026, manufacturer Gesinta opted for a fine Connecticut wrapper from Ecuador. The result is a range of well-balanced cigars from Nicaragua with a creamy smoking experience, pleasant mildness, and attractive value for money, appealing to beginners and experienced aficionados alike.

The cigars are made at the renowned Tabacalera Casa Fernandez, which is internationally recognized for its high standards of craftsmanship. Since its launch in Germany, Condega has become a firm favorite among connoisseurs looking for authentic Nicaraguan longfillers with a well-balanced aroma. With the Serie C cigars, the brand offers a contemporary interpretation that retains its typical character while providing a somewhat gentler introduction. I still remember that when the classic red series first appeared, there was some talk about the cigar band (anilla) bearing a certain resemblance to those on Partagas cigars.
