A bit of everything in a stick that looks much better than it tastes. Enjoyed it for about 50 minutes. Looks slick, well produced, tip top label and very inviting to light up - which is easy to do. Burns decently even and pretty well. Not much of an ash resistance. The taste - although pleasant - it's not surprising. Mixes too much flavours all too punchy. Wood, some pepper, dried and fresh fruits, nuts, leather and soils. All toasty at times and decently creamy. As you can see I used the word "decent" quite a lot here because this is what defines this stick. All in all it feels like going to a medium plus restaurant that tries too hard and has 100 dishes in the menu but none of it truly stands out. Therefore I don't think I would bother again with it. If you want to try something new - go ahead. It is a medium plus smoke after all. Unfortunately the kind you forget completely about the next day. Peace and love!

Karamell-braunes, sehr ebenmäßiges aber stumpfes Deckblatt mit einem recht ansprechenden Ring darum. Der Zug war in Ordnung (nur einen Tick zu leicht), der Abbrand perfekt und die Asche mittelgrau und sehr fest. Sehr cremig-würziger Start mit viel Nuss und einer Prise Pfeffer. Dazu melden sich nach einigen Zügen Erde, etwas Torf und holzige Noten, später noch leicht bitterer Kaffee/Kakao. Hin und wieder blitzen ganz kurz Spitzen von Karamell-Süße auf und die Intensität der Pfeffer-Noten und deren Schärfe ändern sich mehrfach, sonst aber recht linear. Zum Ende dann wandelt sich der Pfeffer zu Chili, daneben dominieren sehr torfige und herb-erdige Noten. Alles in allem nicht schlecht, hervorragend konstruiert aber recht linear und nicht sehr spannend, leicht-mittelstark und mild-mittelkräftig. Ich hätte sie blind für eine Dominikanerin gehalten. Auch die aufgerufenen 7,30€ (03.2025) sind mir einen Ticken zu ambitioniert, werden daher für mich sicher einer Wiederholung im Wege stehen. Allen Liebhabern eines klassisch dominikanischen Geschmacksprofiels aber allemal zu empfehlen. Rauchdauer:45min Punkte:89
