In the early 20th century, English series pipes offered a wide range of variations. The shapes were mostly the same, but different quality levels, finishes, and colors provided a rich selection. For instance, you could get a classic Billiard pipe in red stain, dark brown, light brown, sandblasted black, sandblasted brown, oiled finish, Tanshell, and more.

This concept is being revived today. There will be twelve different pipe shapes offered in twelve distinct finishes, some featuring unique silver accents. So far, the “Trafalgar” and “Marylebone” series have been released (September 2021), each available in three finish variants. This is the opposite of the common “one smooth, one sandblasted” trend.
