No, it doesn't taste like liquorice...but it's so soft, flattering, sweet, but still pointedly spicy...and you don't want to stop.
The sweet and ethereal Latakia flavour is mixed with a little tangy, fruity freshness from a spoonful of Perique, plus a hint of barbeque from a few crumbs of Dark Fired, subtle notes of incense and a lot of smoothness from Black Cavendish.
You can puff away at the mix in a Zen-like and blissfully smacking manner. Not the slightest bit of spiciness or sharpness, just the finest Latakia flavour with addition fluffing on the palate.

Würzig, süß, spritzig, malzig, rauchig und samtweich. Anzünden, meditieren. Als Latakia-Liebhaber komme ich kaum raus aus dem Schwärmen, einer der gemütlichsten aber komplexesten Engländer, die ich kenne, hab ihn extrem langsam geraucht, schaffe ich nicht oft, fantastisch. Sehr kräftig, aber nicht scharf, sehr "sättigend", wie man so schön sagt. Man muss etwas aufpassen, weil er doch recht schnell heiß wird, kenne ich von Latakia-Blends so nicht. Definitiv einer, den man nicht heiß rauchen sollte ^^ Kommt, wie ich finde, an die Intensität einer dunklen Zigarre stark ran. Auf gar keinen Fall gesellschaftsfähig ^^ Die wollartige Konsistenz des Schnitts lässt sich leicht stopfen, fühlt sich aber etwas komisch an, kenne ich so gar nicht. Brennt hervorragend ab, man muss echt nur bissi die Temperatur im Auge behalten.
