Vegas de Santiago Gran Reserva

This is the third series of the Vegas Santiago cigar brand from Costa Rica, introduced in November 2016. Originally, we had this cigar brand exclusively for Germany in our lineup, but after two years, the manufacturer took the next step and entered into a contract with a distributor, making these excellent cigars now more widely available in Germany.

The vitolas presented here, or initially just one, can be considered the entry-level cigars of this manufacturer. They have a milder flavor compared to the classic Vegas de Santiago D8 cigars and are notably milder than the stronger Heritages. The Gran Reserva is the introductory cigar of the best brand from Costa Rica. It offers an elegant, pleasant mildness with astonishing complexity of flavors. Initially earthy, it transforms into a taste of leather and a hint of pepper, before transitioning into a sweet creaminess with a chocolate nuance that tells the story of Costa Rica.

In 2013, the Torpedo from this line received 94 points from the Cigar Journal magazine and was recommended as a "Best Buy." There's nothing more to add to that!
