EPC Limited Editions

Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, known as the "Godfather of Boutique Cigars", has earned a special reputation in the cigar world. As a Cuban exile with roots in the Cuban region of Pinar del Rio, Carrillo began his career with the U.S. version of La Gloria Cubana, which is generally known in Europe as El Credito. After selling the brand to the Swedish Match corporation, he founded EPC (E.P. Carrillo) together with his children. In addition to successful series like the INCH and Short Run, EPC has also been launching a limited edition annually since 2009.

The first limited edition from 2009 was named "Inaugural." The following 2010 edition earned a spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list. Since 2013, Ernesto's cigars have been available in Germany, and so the first limited annual edition for the German market appeared that same year. To mark the company’s fifth anniversary in 2014, the 5th Anniversary edition was released. The blends reflect Carrillo's personal taste and are all crafted at the Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic.
