EPC INCH Natural

Ernesto Perez Carrillo, also known as EPC, is the initiator and founder of the US-based series "La Gloria Cubana," which is sold under the name "El Credito" on the German market due to naming rights issues. Through their sister series "Serie R," he early on drew attention with large ring gauges. After selling his company and stepping away from the "acquirer," he began producing cigars under his own name, or rather his initials, EPC.

Manufactured in his factory in the Dominican Republic, the INCH series consistently offers large diameters with a medium-bodied intensity. Flavor-wise, they start with pronounced wood and pepper notes that become less strong as the smoking progresses, surprisingly even becoming creamy.

The wrapper comes from Ecuador, the binder from Nicaragua, and for the filler, he opted for a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. Here you'll find an overview of all Ernesto Perez Carrillo cigars available in Germany.

The trend toward oversized cigars and very large ring gauges doesn't seem to be slowing down even in 2015. The 8x80 cigars from Asylum 13 that arrived in the summer of 2015 are enjoying active popularity - we are curious to see if this preference will endure. Personally, I find it almost too challenging to smoke these "monsters"; the jaw strain is practically "built-in".... :-)
