The cigar brand Gurkha, created by native Indian Kaizad Hansotia, has been famous worldwide for over 20 years for its very eye-catching and distinctive packaging and its highly innovative blends. This series also falls within that pattern - the box resembles a transportation crate for high-quality wine.

The Gurkha Cellar Reserve features a oily 1998 Criollo wrapper from the Dominican Republic. The binder is a matured Dominican Olor, and the filler consists of 15-year-old Dominican tobacco, making it very well-aged. The series was introduced to the American market in 2011 and arrived in Germany in 2013. With a dream rating of 97 points, it has earned a loyal fan base here and impresses many aficionados with its complexity and richness of flavors.

These cigars impress with an elegant spiciness and delicate, layered flavors, with a particularly pleasant hint of herbs standing out. During the smoking experience, very pleasant nutty notes develop, which blend well with the woody flavors from the beginning.
