Gurkha Grand Reserve

The cigars with the melodious name Grand Reserve are certainly among the most well-known and unusual specimens from Gurkha. What makes them special is the "infusion" with high-quality Cognac Louis XIII from France. The manufacturer emphasizes that the tobacco is not sprayed or steamed but rather a particularly gentle and subtle (though secret) method of marrying the spirit and tobacco has been chosen.

All the tobaccos are from the Dominican Republic and very mild. A Connecticut Shade wrapper is used, which has undergone 5 years of aging. The binder and filler tobaccos have also been aged for 3 years, giving the cigar a very smooth, very mild-creamy overall impression. Each cigar is individually packaged in an elaborate glass tube with a plastic closure designed to resemble wax. We receive 30 cigars in a carton, and the wooden display is provided to the retailer as a one-time sales display. Please understand that this wooden board is NOT included if you order 30 cigars!

Before Gurkha made a comeback in the German market in 2013, these cigars had been available in our country before. In the 2000s, around 10 years ago, a few vitolas were already present in Germany, and these Grand Reserve were part of that "first wave." Beautiful memories!
