La Aurora Imperiales Classico
The La Aurora factory offers enjoyment for the budget-conscious smoker with these premium long-filler cigars. Under the brand name Imperiales, both light and dark cigars (Maduro) are introduced to the market. Exclusively Dominican tobaccos were selected for the filler and binder, providing rich and creamy flavors. The Connecticut Shade wrapper of the Imperiales Classico, on the other hand, brings mild nutty aromas.
Tabacalera La Aurora claims to be the oldest factory in the Dominican Republic, founded in 1903. In addition to the cigars presented here, they also produce the Preferidos, which are particularly challenging to craft due to their Figurado format.
The more affordable "siblings" of these cigars are the Principes, available in both light and dark versions. However, we would definitely recommend opting for the slightly "more expensive" Imperiales, as their significantly more consistent construction quality and longer-aged tobaccos make the choice very straightforward. There are now 6 different formats, so there should be a suitable vitola for every aficionado! To offer these exquisite cigars at this price, the use of an elaborate and ecologically less sensitive wooden box has been avoided, and the cigars are packaged in a sturdy cardboard box instead.
