La Aurora Limited Editions

In this section, we collect all the limited and temporarily available special editions from the La Aurora factory. In this Tabacalera, alongside the cigars bearing the same name, those of Leon Jimenes are also produced, with Leon being the family name of the factory owners. These "Limitadas" are limited edition special releases that are only available for a short time. The regular cigars from La Aurora Cigars are divided into several series: the classic Cameroon, the very noble and elegantly packaged Preferidos, the 100th-anniversary cigar called 100 Anos, and the Principes, which is the most affordable variant produced by the factory.

According to its own statement, the Tabacalera is the oldest in the Dominican Republic and was founded in 1903. The current head is Don Guillermo Léon Herbert - yes, his actual name is Herbert! He is the face and quasi representative of the enterprise and can be found every year at the Inter tabac in Dortmund and the US-American tobacco fair IPCPR. By the way, the Leon family is also a distributor of cigarettes and beer in the Dominican Republic, in case anyone is interested!

    Es ist jedes Jahr die selbe Misere. Der erste Termin auf der Inter-Tabac beginnt immer bei Arnold Andre Cigars mit einem Besuch bei Uwe Mueller. Und wie immer ist der Verkehr in Essen schuld, dass wir später als verabredet erscheinen. Zum Glück hatte Uwe diesmal noch ein wenig Zeit uns die neue Limited Edition von La Aurora vorzustellen. Bei der Limitierten Edition Puros Vintage 2006 handelt es sich um ein Salomones Format mit Tabak (der Name lässt es erahnen) aus dem Jahre 2006. In diesem Jahr feierte La Aurora sein 111. Firmenjubiläum. Als Deckblatt wurde ein Blatt aus Havana-Saatgut aus Ecuador verwendet. Dazu ein Brasil Umblatt und eine Einlage aus überwiegend Viso und Ligero-Tabaken aus Nicaragua, Brasilien und der Dominikanischen Republik. Wer noch ein Zigarre ergattern möchte, sollte sich beeilen, denn wir haben nur zwei Kisten bekommen.
