La Aurora Cameroon 1903

The La Aurora S.A. factory, owned by the Leon family, has been in existence since 1903, and as it claims, it is the oldest in the Dominican Republic. Since then, cigars have been rolled here by Cuban Vegueros (planters) and Torcedores (cigar rollers) who emigrated from Cuba. Originally, this series was called La Aurora Classic, but now it is available in the German market as La Aurora Cameroon. This renaming or specification was necessary because there are other variants with different wrappers from the same Tabacalera.
The filler is composed of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, and the binder comes from Ecuador. The originally Cameroon-grown wrapper is now a Cameroon-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador. The climate conditions in the highlands of Ecuador with frequent fog are ideal for wrappers and produce a tobacco that is quite similar in finesse and aroma to Cuban tobacco. High elasticity and a robust flavor characterize this origin.
The La Aurora Cameroon Longfiller cigars are all perfectly crafted and impress with even burning and draw. With a medium-bodied aroma, they are very popular cigars that captivate with a rare and expensive wrapper, offering a spicy and mildly sweet taste. Multilayered, earthy toasty flavors with hints of cocoa, cinnamon, and wood leave nothing to be desired!
