Vegas de Santiago Freimaurer Zirkel No. 1

Freimaurer Zirkel Cigars combine premium cigar enjoyment with the values of a community steeped in tradition. Created from the idea of German Freemason brothers to develop a cigar for true connoisseurs, these Longfiller cigars made in Costa Rica stand for mindfulness, exchange, and shared moments of enjoyment. Concepts such as humanity, tolerance, and mutual respect shape the philosophy behind the line and give it a distinctive character that extends far beyond the smoking experience itself. There is already a cigar line on the German market built around a similar concept: Hiram & Salomon Cigars use the various levels of the Freemason hierarchy as format names and have been part of our portfolio since 2016. Originally produced by Plasencia, they are now made in the Dominican Republic by PDR Cigars.

Freemason Cigars From Costa Rica With a Unique Background

The line was developed together with Werner Casagrande and the renowned Costa Rican manufacturer Vegas de Santiago. There, the Olman brothers have been producing handcrafted premium cigars at their factory, Tabacos de Costa Rica, for many years, earning an excellent reputation among aficionados. The best-known products from this manufactory are undoubtedly the Vegas de Santiago D8 Cigars. Brand owner Marc Niehaus is well known among cigar enthusiasts through his tobacco seminars and other projects distinguished by carefully selected tobaccos and authentic concepts. Marc comes from Switzerland, where he worked as a teacher before joining his father in Costa Rica to produce fine cigars. He is also a genuinely pleasant person and has undertaken several fascinating journeys through the Himalayas, which followers could track for months through his travel blog. The Freimaurer Zirkel No. 1 Cigars fit seamlessly into this environment, combining traditional cigar culture with a story that invites reflection and enjoyment.

Freimaurer Zirkel Cigars for Aficionados

The various formats in the Freimaurer Zirkel range offer the right companion for different moments of enjoyment. From the compact classic Robusto for a shorter break to the expressive Emperador vitola for long evenings, these cigars showcase the signature style of Vegas de Santiago through balanced aromas, precise craftsmanship, and a harmonious smoking experience. Anyone who appreciates Cigars From Costa Rica and values origin, craftsmanship, and a distinctive concept will find the Freimaurer Zirkel Cigars to be a line that brings together enjoyment and lived values in an appealing way. My review sample was a Robusto, which immediately reminded me of the D8 cigars because of its “juicy” and oily wrapper. Throughout the smoke, it remained pleasantly aromatic while staying on the milder side of the flavor spectrum.
