The cigar brand ADVentura Cigars is a label that has so far been primarily present in the Swiss market and was initiated by the Swiss entrepreneur Marcel Knobel. For some time now, he has been running an online shop in Switzerland and has also carried out other projects under the name Cuba d’Oro – fine artisanal cigars centered around cigars.

The Navigator cigars are one of a total of five different lines that he has launched or is in the process of launching. He developed his cigars as a private label in collaboration with Tabacalera Henderson Ventura in the Dominican Republic. This is also where, among others, the cigars by Robert Caldwell are produced. Initially, he distributed these lines selectively in Switzerland through other friendly retailers; since autumn 2018, his products have also been distributed in Germany via the importer PasionPuro.

The line presented here consists of several vitolas, including a classic Robusto and a Pyramid. The series name refers to navigating through the different flavors throughout the smoking experience of a cigar. The wrapper is a Mexican San Andrés, the binder is a Sumatra from Ecuador, and the filler is a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The ADVentura The Navigator series begins with aromas of coffee and nut, followed by notes of spices, leather, and caramel as the smoke progresses. The tobaccos for these two vitolas are aged for five years before processing, and the finished cigars are aged for an additional five to six months.
