AVO Syncro Nicaragua Fogata

The first Syncro series under the name of the Nicaraguan jazz pianist Avo Uvezian (*1926), who passed away on March 24, 2017, was the Avo Syncro Nicaragua, introduced in 2016. In autumn 2017, the series presented here was added, this time exclusively in round formats, unlike the one first mentioned. Since spring 2020, the third in the group, the AVO Syncro South America Ritmo, has also been available in Germany.

AVO Syncro Nicaragua: A Tribute to Avo Uvezian

The term Fogata means something like campfire or bonfire in Spanish. Compared to the “regular” Syncro, the proportion of Nicaraguan tobaccos has been increased, and an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper is used instead of a Connecticut. The binder is a Mexican San Andres Negro. The filler consists of Dominican Yamasa Viso, Piloto, and San Vicente Ligero, as well as Nicaraguan Esteli Ligero and Viso from Condega.

Special Features of the AVO Syncro Series: Campfire, Tobacco, and Vitolas

The series consists of four vitolas, with the largest format available exclusively in a tube. The Puritos complement the portfolio at the lower end, making it the fourth Purito from the House of Uvezian after the Classic, the Domaine, and the Syncro. Here you will find a complete overview of all Avo Uvezian cigars.
