Casdagli Traditional

A brief note in advance: the Bespoke Cigars were renamed to Casdagli Cigars in 2019 due to trademark disputes. Although this initially greatly annoyed Jeremy, he is now almost pleased to see his own family name on “his” cigars. The blends, compositions, the core logo featuring the Colossus of Rhodes, formats, and prices have otherwise remained unchanged.

Casdagli Traditional Line: A Masterpiece of Cigar Craftsmanship

The Casdagli (formerly Bespoke Traditional Line) is the original cigar line first brought to market by this boutique brand. In 2012, Jeremy Nicholas Casdagli, together with master blender Hendrik Kelner Junior (son of the legendary blender of Davidoff Cigars, Henky Kelner), created the Grand Café cigar for an exclusive restaurant in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

Since then, the line has been expanded with several additional vitolas: alongside the Super Belicoso and the Cotton Tail, a mild to medium-bodied Robusto was also introduced. This format is certainly one of the most popular among cigar smokers worldwide. For this blend, extra long-aged Dominican seco was added to make it particularly creamy, smooth, and slightly sweet. The filler consists of Dominican San Vicente, Nicaraguan Condega Viso, and a portion of U.S. Pennsylvania Broadleaf. The wrapper is a Brazilian Cubra tobacco, a locally cultivated version of an “old” seed variety.

The Evolution from Bespoke to Casdagli Cigars: Tradition and Exclusivity

The cigar brand Bespoke Cigars was founded in 2009 by Jeremy Nicholas Casdagli. He comes from a Greek trading family that amassed wealth in Egypt in the 19th century and was also involved in the tobacco trade. As a tribute to his great-grandfather, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Colossus of Rhodes, adorns the brand’s logo. The word Bespoke means custom-made in English—an indication that every cigar and format bearing this name was individually blended and crafted. Here you will find an overview of all Casdagli Cigars we offer.
