Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Years Limitada

The cigars from Gurkha, led by the native Indian Kaizad Hansotia, have been known since the early 1990s for their high quality and often very extravagant and elaborate packaging in premium wooden boxes and other humidors. The Cellar Reserve Limitada is no exception.

In the Reserve Limitada, compared to the "regular" Cellar Reserve cigars, a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper is used, which gives the cigars an additional kick of sweetness. The binder is a Dominican Olor from the Dominican Republic, and all the filler tobaccos also come from there. Like the classics, they are aged for 15 years and well-fermented accordingly.

The flavor profile is woody, slightly peppery, with a noticeable chocolatey sweetness. As the cigar progresses, it becomes a bit spicier without overwhelming the smoker. These cigars are certainly not for absolute beginners, but they are recommended for enthusiasts who appreciate special and unique formats and blends.
