Balmoral Royal Selection Claro
The Royal Selection Claro by Balmoral is distinguished by its refined yet subtle composition of aromatic tobaccos. The combination of Ecuador Shade Grown, Dominican Olor, Dominican Piloto, and Brazilian Mata Fina tobaccos creates a surprisingly novel, characterful aromatic flavor profile in this light Balmoral Royal Selection Claro cigar.
Balmoral Royal Selection Claro: A Journey Through Aromas and Flavor
In addition to this, there is also the Reserva and the Brazil variant. The green variant with the Maduro wrapper is offered under the name Balmoral Royal Selection Maduro, while the blue series is marketed as Balmoral Royal Selection Reserva. Put simply, the red series presented here is the mildest. The green one is somewhat sweeter and more aromatic, typical of Brazilian tobaccos. The blue Reserva is the strongest – meaning Balmoral offers something for every taste! In the 2010s, the owning Wintermans family made significant efforts to make their longfiller cigar brands more exclusive and premium. The means to this end was the Balmoral Anejo 18, which was rolled with an eighteen-year-aged wrapper and sold out by Agio towards the end of the year. Naturally, we had set aside some of this very popular and well-selling cigar so that we could continue to supply our customers with these special rarities for as long as possible. Its successor, the Balmoral Anejo XO, which arrived in September 2015, features a very similar character and has already passed initial customer tests with great success.

At the end of 2019, the owning Wintermans family sold their company and thus all brands to the Danish tobacco group STG, which has since been successfully leading this traditional brand into the future. As is typical for large publicly listed companies, bottom-line results and overall efficiency are more important than in emotionally driven businesses, which is why the Balmoral range has since been significantly streamlined. Here you can find all other cigars of the Balmoral brand.
