The La Chaveta Black Robusto brings the bold character of our second series to a classic, well-balanced cigar format. Measuring 12.70 centimetres in length with a ring gauge of 52, this entirely hand-rolled Nicaragua puro contains enough tobacco for around 60 minutes of smoking enjoyment. The blend combines the strength and character of Estelí tobaccos with the subtle sweetness of Condega and the refined flavour of Jalapa. The dark H. Criollo wrapper integrates seamlessly into this composition, giving the Robusto its full-bodied, spicy profile.

The La Chaveta Black Robusto is aimed at aficionados looking for a bolder smoking profile in a familiar and versatile format. Its 52 ring gauge delivers a rich mouthfeel, while the compact length keeps the smoking time to around one hour. The hand-twisted pigtails at both ends remain a distinctive hallmark of La Chaveta. At the mouth end, however, the Black Robusto should be opened with a cutter, as twisting off the pigtail no longer creates a sufficiently large opening at this diameter. Before going on sale, it is given – like all cigars in the series – at least six months of rest in our ageing humidor.
