Don Stefano

Don Stefano

Steffen Rinn gave his name to the Don Stefano factory when he founded it near Giessen (Hesse) in 1993. Previously, he was a partner in the renowned Rinn & Cloos factory, which was acquired by Dannemann in the early 1990s. This extensive experience is evident in the products of Don Stefano - "100% Tobacco in Perfection" is prominently displayed as the company's motto on its website.

Only the finest tobaccos from the traditional growing regions of Cuba (Pinar del Rio), Brazil (Mata Fina), and Indonesia (Bezuki and Vorstenlanden) are used. Almost all cigars and cigarillos at Don Stefano are now machine-made as short-fillers. However, a few special editions still involve pure handwork. In those cases, the boss himself, Steffen Rinn, still rolls cigars - he can still do it! Aside from manufacturing their own short-fillers, Don Stefano also operates as an importer and distributor of selected long-fillers. They import specialties such as premium cigars from Perdomo (Nicaragua) and Bauza (Dominican Republic - Arturo Fuente).
